User license

The use of the data requires the acceptance of the license agreement.

Private container

The access to MSG and MTG data on terrabyte is restriced to DLR users. The data is only available via a private container.

To access restricted data and accept its user license (this is a one-time self-service operation), the terrapi restricted data API is needed. Simply use the following commands on the login node:

 module use /dss/dsstbyfs01/pn56su/pn56su-dss-0020/usr/share/modules/files/
 module load terrapi

 terrapi restricted-data list-available
 terrapi restricted-data request-info meteosat
 terrapi restricted-data request-access meteosat
