Introduction
The terrabyte Portal is an Open OnDemand-based web service providing access to several services via a GUI (Graphical User Interface). The terrabyte Portal serves as a convenient and easy-to-use entry point to the terrabyte infrastructure. Users with a terrabyte account can develop and execute code directly on the terrabyte compute resources and analyze the results with a variety of tools. See Login to the terrabyte Portal for details on how to access the portal. The dashboard offers access to the services pictured here. The following sections of this documentation explain the options in more detail.
However, if your goal is large-scale batch processing, implementing automated processing workflows or running numerical simulations, you should consider accessing the terrabyte HPC programmatically.
Very rarely, some users reported unexpected behavior of the portal, like view update issues, connection interruptions or "bad request" errors. If this happens, try first to open the portal in a new browser tab. If the issue persists, try deleting the cookies of your browser, clearing the browser's cache and reloading the portal. This should usually resolve the issue.
