In case of specific technical issues on the HPDA terrabyte infrastructure, please:

  1. Read this documentation. Often problems can be solved by thorough reading.

  2. Have a look into the LRZ FAQ section. Many solutions discussed there can be adapted to the HPDA terrabyte infrastructure as well.

  3. Ask the question in our support forum: https://forum.terrabyte.lrz.de

  4. ... or send an email to terrabyte Support:

    • Email servicedesk@terrabyte.lrz.de
    • Describe your issue, if possible with instructions on how to replicate it
    • Attach relevant console output/error messages if applicable
  5. If you have been redirected to the LRZ support, open a ticket at the LRZ Servicedesk:

    • Go to https://servicedesk.lrz.de/
    • With your user ID and password, login to the self-service section
    • Choose "New incident" → "High performance computing" → "Linux cluster"
      • Select "DLR TERRABYTE (HPDA)" from the drop down list
      • In "Additional email contacts", enter servicedesk@terrabyte.lrz.de
      • In "Description", decribe your issue short and precisely
      • In "Details", give a detailed description of your issue. It may be very helpful and time-saving for the support team if you add relevant console output/error messages here or as an attachment.
